Can’t Swim drop “frustrated and angry” new single, Can’t See Straight
Can’t Swim have just unleashed a minute-long, hardcore-esque song that they hope can “shed a light on a terrible yet very common occurrence that happens to too many women”.
New Jersey punks Can’t Swim have gone heavy on their brand-new single.
The now-trio have just dropped new track Can’t See Straight, which follows their 2023 album Thanks, But No Thanks and according to frontman Chris LoPorto is “about an experience a dear friend of mine went through. Frustrated and angry I quickly jotted down the lyrics the day she told me. I was on tour driving for another band at the time and actually recorded the final takes of the vocals in the front seat of a Penske truck.
“Though I wish I could reverse what happened to her I do hope this song can shed some light on a terrible yet very common occurrence that happens to too many women.”
