‘This is the fallout…’ Bring Me The Horizon have taken to TikTok to tease a snippet of a new single with Masked Wolf, arriving this Friday!
Bring Me The Horizon have shared a 13-second snippet of a new single, Fallout, in collaboration with Australian rapper Masked Wolf.
The band posted a new video on TikTok with the caption, 'THIS IS THE FALLOUT #fyp #bmth #emo #bringmethehorizon #newmusic', featuring frontman Oli Sykes singing along, and the rest of the band jamming in the studio to a suitably tasty nu-metal breakdown. Meanwhile, Masked Wolf took to Instagram to share a more cryptic, glitchy video, with a pre-save link in bio confirming: 'Pre-save or pre-add Masked Wolf x Bring Me The Horizon's upcoming song Fallout. Speaking to Kerrang! in December about new BMTH material, Jordan Fish explained that their Post Human: Survival Horror EP was “more influenced by metal and nu-metal sounds”, whereas EP number two is “more influenced by emo and screamo”.
“These records are about the music that we grew up listening to in the order that we discovered it,” he said. “We all started listening to Linkin Park, Deftones and Slipknot. Then we moved into that more emo/post-hardcore sound of bands like Glassjaw. It’s still a rock record at its core: there’s still heavier stuff and big songs on there. [Latest single] DiE4U is a good glimpse of the direction it's going in.”
Bring Me The Horizon will headline Reading Festival on August 27 and Leeds Festival on August 28.
