blink-182 postpone immediate Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin gigs due to “urgent family matter”
Their UK and European tour was due to start tonight (September 1), but blink-182 have just announced that Travis Barker has had to return home to America “due to an urgent family matter”.
blink-182 have announced the postponement of their imminent gigs in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
The pop-punk legends have just announced that the first few dates of their UK tour are moving, as drummer Travis Barker has had to return home to America due to an “urgent family matter”.
The shows impacted are two nights at the Glasgow OVO Hydro on September 1 – 2, as well as gigs at the Belfast SSE Arena (September 4) and Dublin 3Arena (September 5). Currently, the trio’s October dates in London, Birmingham and Manchester are still going ahead.
A statement from blink reads: “Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”
