Bat In Black: Taylor Momsen was bitten by a bat onstage while supporting AC/DC

Taylor Momsen has revealed that she was bitten by an actual bat during The Pretty Reckless’ set supporting AC/DC at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville on Wednesday night.

Now on a course of rabies shots following the incident, the singer has shared footage of the wild moment – including the fact that she initially didn’t even seem to notice the flying mammal gripping on to her leg while performing 2021 track Witches Burn – as well as her visit to the hospital afterwards.

Taking to Instagram, Taylor writes: “So… ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT… in Sevilla Wednesday during Witches Burn of all songs… a BAT flew onto me and clung to my leg… in the moment I was performing and had no idea until the incredible crowd kept screaming and pointing…

“He was cute,” she adds, “but yes he bit me… so rabies shots for the next two weeks. Thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me #batgirl after seeing it on the local news that morning… more footage to come… that’s one for the books!!!!”
