BABYMETAL Say YUIMETAL's Departure Has Made The Band's Bond Even Stronger
SU-METAL and MOAMETAL discuss BABYMETAL's upcoming album and the departure of YUIMETAL
SU-METAL and MOAMETAL have discussed BABYMETAL's upcoming album METAL GALAXY, working with other artists and the departure of YUIMETAL last year.
In October last year, BABYMETAL announced that YUIMETAL would no longer be a part of the band, but have remained silent on the topic ever since. Now they have spoken (albeit briefly) about their former comrade in an interview with Loudwire.
"It’s been difficult," says SU-METAL, "but her departure made the bond between SU-METAL and MOAMETAL even stronger."

YUIMETAL hasn't been replaced within the BABYMETAL ranks, instead the band will have a revolving cast of backup dancers, known as the Avengers.
"They are chosen by the Fox God," says MOAMETAL. "Avengers will bring a new vibe."
Speaking about the upcoming album, METAL GALAXY, the pair reveal their favourite songs on the record are PA PA YA!! and Oh! Majinai – which features guest vocals from Sabaton's Joakim Brodén.
"It was really fun," says SU-METAL on working with Joakim. "The way the song sounds after his voice was added, added more power to the song."
