Avenged Sevenfold Are Giving Fans Free Merch As An Incentive To Self-Quarantine
Avenged Sevenfold have announced the #IncentivizedQuarantine initiative to encourage fans to stay home during the coronavirus.
While the majority of the population seems to understand the importance of self-quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic right now, Avenged Sevenfold have given fans an extra reason to stay at home during this strange, unsettling time.
The Huntington Beach metal titans have just announced the #IncentivizedQuarantine initiative in which they will send fans free merch for proving that they're isolating themselves and doing their part to stop the spread of COVID-19 for seven days straight.
"We are developing a 'check-in' webpage where you will upload a selfie at home when prompted by us via our Instagram Story at a random time," the band announce in a statement.

"Whoever successfully uploads a selfie with the phrase of the day written on a piece of paper within 30 minutes of that post, seven days in a row, will receive a free T-shirt, hoodie or accessory from @A7XWorld. We have a chance to 'flatten the curve' and save countless lives. We are all in this together.
"Don't worry about being perfect: you can start your seven days at any point so if you miss a check-in just start again and you'll be at seven before you know it.
"In addition we will be closing @A7XWorld for now. We encourage you to support your favourite independent artists, brands, and businesses during this time of uncertainty."
Hell yeah, guys. What an amazing gesture.
