Alissic releases new video for Superstitious
With creative direction by husband Oli Sykes, Alissic shares the Nosferatu-inspired new video for recent single Superstitious.
Alt.pop artist Alissic has shared a spookily fun new video for her latest single Superstitious.
With creative direction from her husband, Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes, Alissic takes inspiration from Nosferatu in the black-and-white clip, which perfectly mirrors lyrics like, 'Words can be a dagger / You're walking under ladders,' and, 'Seven years of bad luck if you ever break my heart / Obsession can be vicious, I know your teeth are sharp.'
Of the single itself, the musician shares: "It makes me feel warm and like home with its Latin American influence. The super-spacey and lush sound in the pre-chorus gives it a really ethereal vibe. It feels like you are crafting a spell, when you talk about female intuition it means you are in tune with yourself and the universe, and I wanted to reflect that in the sound."
