“I can take bat bubble baths now!” The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen is seeing the funny side of being bitten by a bat onstage supporting AC/DC last week.
Engineer Mike Fraser has teased that rock giants AC/DC have been in the studio "doing something"…
It's been a couple of months since it was (sort of) revealed that frontman Brian Johnson has rejoined AC/DC for a new album, and now the band's engineer Mike Fraser has confirmed that they've been in the studio "doing something".
In an interview with Mastering Music Mastering Life, the producer, engineer and mixer (whose work also includes Metallica, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and more) responds to the question of if there's a new AC/DC album in the works by cryptically saying: "Well, yeah, I could say that we've been in the studio doing something. What's come of that I can't discuss yet…"
Mike also teased, "I think so…" when asked if the new full-length will include Brian Johnson on vocals. So we'll take that as a sneaky yes, then.
You can watch the full interview below, with the short-but-sweet new album chat arriving around 37 minutes in.
Rumours began circulating last August about Brian Johnson and drummer Phil Rudd returning to AC/DC after being photographed outside a studio in Vancouver.
Brian had to exit AC/DC in 2016 after suffering serious problems with his hearing, and was replaced by Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose for the subsequent tour.
AC/DC's last studio album was 2014's Rock Or Bust, but it looks like we could hear the Aussie giants' 17th LP at some point this year?!
